أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي إن نحو 200 مقاتلة شاركت في الهجوم "الواسع" على الأهداف الإيرانية السبت، واصفا الضربات الجوية بأنها "أكبر طلعة هجومية في تاريخ سلاح الجو".

وقال الجيش في بيان "منذ صبيحة اليوم أنجزت نحو 200 طائرة مقاتلة لسلاح الجو ضربة جوية واسعة النطاق ضد المنظومات الصاروخية وأنظمة الدفاع الجوية التابعة للنظام الإيراني الإرهابي غرب ووسط ايران".

وأضاف البيان "إنها أكبر طلعة هجومية في تاريخ سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي". وبحسب البيان أيضا "أسقطت مقاتلات سلاح الجو المئات من الذخائر في الوقت نفسه على ما يفوق 500 هدف منها دفاعات جوية ومنصات إطلاق صواريخ في عدة مناطق في أنحاء إيران".
