تلقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، السبت، اتصالا هاتفيا من سمو الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد، رئيس مجلس الوزراء في المملكة العربية السعودية.

وبحث الاتصال التطورات الدائرة في الإقليم، إذ أدان جلالة الملك الاعتداء على أراضي الأردن، مشددا على الاستمرار في اتخاذ جميع الخطوات الضرورية للحفاظ على سلامة المواطنين وحماية أمن المملكة وسيادتها.

وأعرب جلالة الملك عن تضامن الأردن المطلق مع الدول العربية الشقيقة ووقوفه إلى جانبها في مواجهة أية اعتداءات تمس سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها.

وأكد الجانبان ضرورة وقف التصعيد واستخدام الحوار في خفض التوترات لتجنب توسع الصراع.
