دعا مدير العمليات والتدريب في الدفاع المدني العقيد فراس أبو السندس، السبت، إلى عدم تداول الشائعات ومقاطع الفيديو غير الموثوقة.

كما دعا في حديثه إلى البقاء في المنازل أو أقرب نقطة احتماء عند سماع أصوات صفارات الإنذار.

وأوضح بأن دلالات الصفارات على النحو التالي: "ثلاث صفارات متقطعة تعني وجود تهديد، وصفارة واحدة تعني زوال التهديد".

وأكد أنه عند سماع الصفارات الثلاث، يُنصح بالبقاء في مكان الوجود وعدم التحرك، وفي حال الوجود خارج المنزل يجب الاحتماء بأقرب مبنى لحين انتهاء التهديد.

ولفت النظر إلى ضرورة الابتعاد عن النوافذ والأماكن المكشوفة، والوجود بالقرب من السلالم الإسمنتية إن توافرت.
