أعلنت كندا الجمعة أنها تنقل الموظفين الدبلوماسيين غير الأساسيين وعائلاتهم من تل أبيب بسبب "التوترات المستمرة في المنطقة"، فيما تدرس الولايات المتحدة توجيه ضربة إلى إيران.

وقالت أوتاوا في بيان "اتخذت وزارة الشؤون الدولية قرارا بنقل الموظفين غير الأساسيين وعائلاتهم موقتا من تل أبيب"، مضيفة أن السفارة الإسرائيلية ستبقى مفتوحة.

وأضافت "الموظفون الكنديون وعائلاتهم في لبنان وفلسطين ما زالوا في مكانهم وتواصل بعثاتنا العمل بشكل طبيعي"، ودعت الكنديين في إيران إلى "المغادرة الآن إذا كان بإمكانهم القيام بذلك بأمان".
