أشاد أسطورة نادي ريال مدريد ومدافع المنتخب الإسباني السابق فرناندو هييرو بالمستوى الذي يقدمه المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم، معتبرًا أنه الأفضل عربيًا.

وجاءت تصريحات هييرو خلال مقابلة تلفزيونية عبر قناة العربية، ردًا على سؤال حول تقييمه لمستوى المنتخبات العربية، حيث أكد أن المنتخب الوطني يبرز حاليًا كأفضل منتخب عربي من حيث الأداء والنتائج.

ويشهد المنتخب الوطني تطورًا ملحوظًا على صعيد المستوى الفني والنتائج خلال السنوات الأخيرة، خاصة بعد الإنجاز التاريخي ببلوغه نهائي كاس آسيا 2023، إلى جانب التأهل التاريخي لكاس العالم 2026.
