أدى نحو 100 ألف مصل، صلاة الجمعة الثانية من شهر رمضان المبارك، في رحاب المسجد الأقصى المبارك- الحرم القدسي الشريف في مدينة القدس المحتلة، رغم تقييدات وإجراءات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي المشددة.

وأفادت دائرة الأوقاف الإسلامية بالقدس في بيان، بأن قوات الاحتلال منعت آلاف المصلين من الوصول إلى المسجد الأقصى، فيما أعادت الآلاف عن حاجزي قلنديا، شمال القدس المحتلة، وحاجز (300) الفاصل بين مدينتي القدس وبيت لحم.

يذكر أن قوات الاحتلال شددت من إجراءاتها العسكرية في مدينة القدس ومحيطها، وفرضت قيودا مشددة على بوابات المسجد الأقصى، لعرقلة وصول المصلين، بالتزامن مع إصدار قرارات بإبعاد أكثر من 300 مقدسي عن المسجد خلال شهر رمضان المبارك.
