قال الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، الخميس، إن بلاده لا تسعى إلى امتلاك سلاح نووي، مؤكدا "الالتزام بفتوى المرشد الأعلى في البلاد بهذا الشأن"، قبيل محادثات نووية مع الولايات المتحدة في جنيف.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية، أن مقترح طهران في مفاوضات جنيف يبدد جميع الذرائع الأميركية حيال البرنامج النووي الإيراني.

وأضافت أن "عدم قبول واشنطن مقترح إيران سيؤكد عدم جديتها وأن دعوتها للدبلوماسية مجرد مناورة".
