قُتل أربعة أشخاص طعنا في ولاية واشنطن الأميركية الثلاثاء، فيما أردى شرطي المشتبه به، وفق ما أعلنت السلطات المحلية.

وقالت شرطة مقاطعة بيرس إن عناصرها استجابوا لبلاغات بشأن رجل يُعتقد أنه انتهك أمر "إبعاد" في منزل قرب مدينة تاكوما في الولاية الواقعة في غرب البلاد.

وجاء في بيان نشرته الشرطة على فيسبوك "أثناء التوجه إلى الموقع، وردت بلاغات من شهود عدة في التاسعة والنصف صباحا تفيد بإقدام رجل على طعن أشخاص أمام المنزل".

وتابع البيان "وصل شرطي، وأفيد بإطلاق نار في الساعة 9,33 صباحا"، مشيرا إلى مقتل أربعة اشخاص بينهم المشتبه به وهو رجل يبلغ 32 عاما.

وأشار البيان إلى أن شخصا خامسا جرى نقله على الفور إلى المستشفى لكنه "قضى متأثرا بإصابته".
