أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية فجر الأحد على واجهتها، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة محملة بواسطة بالونات موجهة إلكترونياً.

وتمكنت وحدات حرس الحدود، من خلال المراقبة، من رصدها والتعامل معها وإسقاط حمولتها داخل الأراضي الأردنية بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
