انخفضت أسعار الذهب اليوم الجمعة، متجهة نحو تسجيل خسارة أسبوعية، في ظل صعود الدولار إلى مستوى يقترب من أعلى مستوياته في شهر، بينما يترقب المستثمرون صدور بيانات التضخم الأميركية الرئيسية لتقييم مسار السياسة النقدية لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي.

وتراجع الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.1 بالمئة إلى 4,991.99 دولار للأونصة، ليبلغ إجمالي خسائره نحو 1 بالمئة منذ بداية الأسبوع.

في المقابل ارتفعت العقود الآجلة الأميركية للذهب تسليم نيسان 0.3 بالمئة إلى 5,010.20 دولار، وفقًا لشبكة (سي إن إن).

وفي المعادن النفيسة الأخرى، تراجعت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية 0.6 بالمئة إلى 77.88 دولار للأونصة، وانخفض البلاتين 0.3 بالمئة إلى 2,063.63 دولار، بينما خسر البلاديوم 0.4 بالمئة إلى 1,677.71 دولار.
