أجرى فريق طبي بمستشفى الأميرة بسمة الجديد الأربعاء، أول حالة قسطرة طرفية في شعبة الأشعة التداخلية وقسطرة الأوعية الدموية، في خطوة تعد انطلاقة فعلية لتقديم هذا النوع المتقدم من الخدمات العلاجية في شمال المملكة.

وأجريت العملية على يد فريق طبي مكون من أخصائيي الأشعة التداخلية وقسطرة الأوعية الدموية محمد نصر نزال وعثمان عمر أبو قران، بمتابعة وتعاون من أخصائي جراحة الأوعية الدموية رائد عناب.

وقال نزال، إن هذه العملية تعد بداية مرحلة جديدة لتطوير تخصص الأشعة التداخلية كأحد التخصصات الدقيقة والنوعية، والذي يُعد الأول من نوعه على هذا المستوى في مستشفيات وزارة الصحة في شمال المملكة.
