أعلنت إدارة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الثلاثاء عن 3 مشروعات ستمولها اليابان بقيمة 36 مليار دولار، وهي منشأة لتصدير النفط في تكساس ومصنع للماس الصناعي في جورجيا ومحطة لتوليد الكهرباء من الغاز الطبيعي في أوهايو.

وقال ترامب في منشور على منصة تروث سوشال إن هذه المشروعات ستكون أول استثمارات في إطار تعهد اليابان بضخ 550 مليار دولار في الولايات المتحدة ضمن اتفاق تجاري يهدف إلى خفض الرسوم الجمركية الأمرييية على الواردات اليابانية إلى 15 %.

ولم يقدم ترامب تفاصيل تذكر عن هذه المشروعات.
