أعلنت أمانة عمان الكبرى، أنه سيتم إطلاق مدفع رمضان طيلة أيام الشهر الفضيل من ساحة النخيل بمنطقة رأس العين، تزامنا مع آذان المغرب، بالتعاون مع القوات المسلحة الأردنية - الجيش العربي.

وقال الناطق الإعلامي في الأمانة ناصر الرحامنة، إنه تم إنجاز جميع الترتيبات والتجهيزات في الموقع، إذ يأتي لإحياء تراث عمان القديم الذي مثل فيه المدفع الرمضاني مشهدا من مظاهر الحياة في شهر رمضان الكريم بالاعتماد عليه في إعلان موعد الإفطار.
