ترامب يصف كوبا ب"الدولة الفاشلة"

وصف الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الاثنين، كوبا بأنها "دولة فاشلة"، ودعا هافانا إلى ابرام اتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة، مستبعدا فكرة القيام بعملية لتغيير النظام.

وقال الرئيس الأميركي للصحافيين على متن الطائرة الرئاسية "اير فورس وان" أثناء عودته إلى واشنطن "كوبا الآن دولة فاشلة".

لكن عندما سئل عما إذا كانت الولايات المتحدة ستطيح بالحكومة الكوبية كما فعلت في فنزويلا، أجاب ترامب "لا أعتقد أن ذلك سيكون ضروريا".

وتواجه كوبا نقصا حادا في الوقود وانقطاعا متكررا للتيار الكهربائي، في ظل تشديد ترامب الحصار الأميركي المفروض على الجزيرة منذ عقود والضغط على بعض الدول الأخرى التي تمد هافانا بالنفط للتوقف عن ذلك.

وأقر ترامب بأن نقص الوقود الذي تعاني منه كوبا "يمثل تهديدا إنسانيا".
