أكد وزير الطاقة والثروة المعدنية، صالح الخرابشة، الاثنين، أن الهدف من قانون الغاز هو إنشاء سوق غاز تطبق فيه مبدأ المنافسة العادلة، بما يخدم مصلحة مزوّدي الخدمة والمستهلكين على حد سواء.

وأشار الخرابشة، خلال مداخلة له في جلسة مجلس النواب، إلى المادة (22) الفقرة (د) من القانون، التي تتحدث عن توقيع الاتفاقيات لتحديد التعرفة المطبقة، موضحا أن الحكومة هي من تحدد التعرفة في حال وجود مزود خدمة واحد.

وأضاف أنه في حال وجود أكثر من مزود، تقوم هيئة تنظيم قطاع الطاقة والمعادن بتطبيق منهجية وآلية تعتمدها الهيئة لضمان المنافسة العادلة، بما يعود بالنفع على المستهلك.
