حقق أمس لاعب منتخب الكراتيه محمد العتيبي ميدالية ذهبية في وزن تحت 40 كغم لفئة 14 سنة، ضمن منافسات بطولة الدوري العالمي للشباب والناشئين، والتي تُقام في إمارة الفجيرة الإماراتية.

ونال العتيبي الميدالية الذهبية في وزن تحت 40 كغم لفئة 14 سنة، بعد أن استهل مشواره في دور المجموعات بالفوز على كل من السلوفاكي باتريك بالكا 7/1، السوري حمزة صابوني 1/0، المصري إيوان عوض الله 4/3، الكازاخي ييراسيل سايلو 4/0، ثم في الدور نصف النهائي على الأميركي سبنسر 8/6، وفي النهائي على المصري أحمد منصور 4/2.

وبالمقابل شهدت منافسات الأمس خروج اللاعبين أيمن أسعد مسعود، محمد علي، ويسرا المحتسب من دور المجموعات لأوزانهم.

وبذلك يرتفع الرصيد الأردني في البطولة إلى ذهبيتين وفضية، وأربع برونزيات.
