ناقش مجلس الأمن الدولي اليوم الجمعة في جلسته الشهرية، الملفين السياسي والإنساني في سوريا، حيث استمع أعضاء المجلس إلى إحاطة قدمها نائب المبعوث الخاص لسوريا، كلاوديو كوردوني.

وأعرب كوردوني عن تطلعه للتنفيذ الكامل والسريع للاتفاق بين الحكومة السورية وقوات سوريا الديمقراطية (قسد) وخاصة ما يتعلق بالدمج السلمي لشمال شرق سوريا، وحماية حقوق الأكراد السوريين، والعودة الآمنة والكريمة والطوعية للنازحين، بما يهيئ الظروف التي تمكن جميع سكان تلك المنطقة من سوريا من العيش بكرامة وأمان.

وحث كوردوني الأطراف على مواصلة الوفاء بالتزاماتها وحل أي خلافات متعلقة بتنفيذ الاتفاق، داعيًا إلى التحقيق في مزاعم الانتهاكات المرتكبة، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عنها.
