قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب إنه ناقش مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو ما وصفه بـ"تقدم كبير" يجري تحقيقه في قطاع غزة والمنطقة بشكل عام.

وأضاف ترامب، في تصريحات أعقبت انتهاء لقائه مع نتنياهو، أن الاجتماع كان "جيدا جدا"، مشيرا إلى أنه لم يتم التوصل إلى أي نتائج نهائية باستثناء تأكيده على ضرورة استمرار المفاوضات مع إيران.

وفيما يتعلق بالملف الإيراني، أعرب ترامب عن أمله في أن تكون طهران هذه المرة "أكثر عقلانية ومسؤولية"، مؤكدا تمسكه بمسار التفاوض.
