قال السفير الروسي في تل أبيب، أناتولي فيكتوروف، إن بلاده تجري محادثات مع إسرائيل و"مجلس السلام" ودول أخرى لإنشاء مستشفى روسي في قطاع غزة.

جاء ذلك في تصريح نقلته وكالة "ريا نوفوستي"، الناطقة باسم الكرملين، عن مقابلة أجراها فيكتوروف مع شبكة "آر تي".

وأوضح فيكتوروف أن الفكرة طُرحت لأول مرة قبل نحو عامين، وعادت للظهور مجدداً، قائلاً: "أؤكد أننا مستعدون من حيث المبدأ لإنشاء المنشأة الطبية في أسرع وقت ممكن، بمعدات وكوادر روسية".

وأضاف أن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أبدى استعداده لإنشاء المستشفى خلال اجتماع عقده مؤخراً مع الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس.
