قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام أن الفرق المتخصصة في مديرية دفاع مدني شرق إربد يساندها فريق البحث والإنقاذ الدولي تعاملت مساء اليوم مع بلاغ ورد إلى مديرية العمليات والسيطرة يفيد بوجود شخصين تعرضا لحادث انهيار أتربة وحجارة عليهما داخل مغارة على طريق حوارة بمحافظة اربد.

و أضاف أن أحدهما تعرض لإصابة في القدم، والآخر تمت محاصرته تحت الردم، حيث بذلت الفرق المختصة جهوداً كبيرةً أدت لتحرير الشخص المحاصر من تحت الردم، وتبين أنه مصاب بعدة إصابات في الجسم، حيث قدمت لهما الإسعافات الأولية اللازمة، وتم نقلهما الى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج اللازم. وتم فتح تحقيق بالحادثة.
