أعلن البنتاغون الاثنين، أن القوات الأميركية احتجزت ناقلة نفط في المحيط الهندي بعد انتهاكها الحظر الذي فرضه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب على السفن في الكاريبي وفرارها من هذه المنطقة.

وقالت وزارة الدفاع الأميركية، إنّ "القوات الأميركية احتجزت" السفينة، وذلك بعدما أعلنت عبر منصة (إكس) أن هذه القوات صعدت على متن الناقلة أكويلا 2 "من دون حوادث" بعد مطاردتها من منطقة الكاريبي حتى المحيط الهندي.
