تعاملت كوادر الدفاع المدني في إربد، اليوم الاثنين، مع حادث انفجار أسطوانة غاز داخل محل تجاري في شارع الحصن، أدى إلى إصابة 4 أشخاص تم نقل 3 منهم إلى مستشفى الأميرة بسمة التعليمي، فيما باشرت الجهات المعنية التحقيق في ملابسات الحادث.

ونجحت طواقم الإطفاء في الدفاع المدني بإخماد الحريق الناجم عن الانفجار بسرعة قياسية، حيث عملت الفرق على إخلاء المحل وتأمين المنطقة المجاورة، مما حال دون امتداد النيران إلى المحال التجارية الملاصقة في المنطقة الحيوية.

وأكد مصدر طبي أن المستشفى استقبل ثلاث إصابات جراء الحادثة، مبيناً أن حالتهم الصحية العامة وُصفت بـ "المتوسطة"، ويخضعون حالياً للمراقبة الطبية والعلاجات اللازمة، فيما تم تقديم الإسعافات الأولية لإصابة رابعة في موقع الحادث غادرت المكان فوراً.
