أسفر حادث مروري وقع الأحد في ولاية كانو بشمال نيجيريا عن مقتل 30 شخصًا، وفقًا لما أفادت به السلطات المحلية.

وقال متحدث باسم حكومة الولاية في بيان إن الحادث وقع نتيجة تصادم شاحنة نصف مقطورة بمركبة أخرى بسبب القيادة المتهورة، ما أسفر عن وفاة أكثر من 30 شخصًا وإصابة العديد من الآخرين بجروح خطيرة.

وعبّر حاكم ولاية كانو، الحاج أبا يوسف، عن تعاطفه العميق مع أسر الضحايا، واصفًا الحادث بأنه مفجع وخسارة فادحة للولاية.

كما وجّه الحاكم وزارة الصحة بضمان حصول جميع المصابين على رعاية طبية مجانية وكاملة دون تأخير، مشددًا على أهمية التدخل السريع لإنقاذ الأرواح وتقليل تفاقم الإصابات.
