قال جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الاثنين إنه استهدف أربعة فلسطينيين؛ ما أدى إلى استشهادهم، بعد زعمه بخروجهم من نفق في رفح في جنوب قطاع غزة، متهما هؤلاء بأنهم كانوا يطلقون النار على جنود إسرائيليين.

وذكر جيش الاحتلال في بيان أن "أربعة مسلحين خرجوا قبل قليل من نفق وأطلقوا النار على جنودنا (...) قتلتهم قواتنا "، متحدثا عن "انتهاك صارخ لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار".
