تراجعت أسعار النفط بأكثر من 1%، مع انحسار المخاوف بشأن احتمال نشوب صراع في الشرق الأوسط بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران بعد أن أنهى البلدان جولة من المحادثات الجمعة.

وانخفضت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 89 سنتا أو 1.31%، لتصل إلى 67.16 دولار للبرميل بحلول الساعة 23:09 بتوقيت غرينتش.

وهبط سعر خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي 79 سنتا أو 1.24% إلى 62.76 دولار للبرميل.

وقال كبير الدبلوماسيين الإيرانيين الجمعة إن المحادثات النووية مع الولايات المتحدة بوساطة عُمان بدأت "بشكل جيد" ومن المقرر أن تستمر، في تصريحات ربما تسهم في تهدئة المخاوف من أن يؤدي الفشل في التوصل إلى اتفاق إلى دفع الشرق الأوسط نحو حافة الحرب.
