حقق فريق نادي شباب الفحيص للسيدات بكرة السلة، فوزه الثالث تواليًا في النسخة الثامنة من دورة الألعاب للأندية العربية للسيدات، على حساب نظيره غاز الشمال العراقي بنتيجة (93-60) في اللقاء الذي جمعهما أمس بقاعة نادي البطائح في إمارة الشارقة، ضمن الجولة الرابعة من الدور التمهيدي. ‏‏وكان الفحيص قد استهل حملة الدفاع عن لقبه بالفوز على فريق الفتاة الكويتي بنتيجة (79-73)، قبل أن يتغلب على الشارقة الإماراتي بنتيجة (80-65). ‏ويلتقي الفحيص نظيره الحالة البحريني عند الساعة الحادية عشرة صباح يوم غد الأحد.

‏‏ووفقاً لنظام البطولة، تلعب الفرق السبعة المشاركة فيما بينهما بنظام الدوري المجزأ من مرحلة واحدة، لترتيب مراكز الفرق، على أن يتوج باللقب الفريق الأعلى جمعا للنقاط مع نهاية الدور التمهيدي.
