تلقت باكستان والسعودية وقطر ومصر وعُمان والإمارات دعوات للمشاركة في المحادثات الأميركية الإيرانية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية في إسطنبول الجمعة، وفق ما أفاد مسؤول لوكالة رويترز.

وصرح مسؤول إقليمي الثلاثاء بأن أولوية المحادثات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة هذا الأسبوع في إسطنبول هي تجنب أي صراع وخفض حدة التوتر بين الجانبين، مضيفا أنه تم توجيه الدعوة أيضا إلى مجموعة من القوى بالمنطقة للمشاركة.

وأوضح المصدر أن إطار المحادثات لم يتضح بعد لكن "الاجتماع الرئيسي" سيعقد الجمعة، وأن من المهم بدء الحوار بين الطرفين لتجنب المزيد من التصعيد.
