استقرت أسعار النفط الثلاثاء مع تقييم المشاركين في السوق احتمال تراجع التوتر بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، في حين حد الدولار القوي من ارتفاع الأسعار.

وارتفعت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 6 سنتات، أو 0.1%، إلى 66.36 دولار للبرميل في الساعة 0102 بتوقيت غرينتش. وبلغ سعر خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي 62.24 دولار للبرميل، بارتفاع 0.2%.

وانخفضت أسعار النفط بأكثر من 4% الاثنين بعد أن قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب إن إيران "تتحدث بجدية" مع واشنطن، مما يشير إلى تراجع التوتر مع الدولة العضو بمنظمة البلدان المصدرة للبترول (أوبك).
