غوتيريش يدعو السلطات الأميركية إلى "ضبط النفس"

دعا الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش السلطات الأميركية الخميس إلى "ضبط النفس"، بعد مقتل مواطنين أميركيين اثنين في مينيابوليس برصاص شرطة إدارة الهجرة والجمارك.

وقال غوتيريش خلال مؤتمر صحافي في نيويورك "نحن نعتبر أن الحق في التظاهر حق أساسي، ومن الضروري أن تبدي الشرطة وسائر القوات قدرا من ضبط النفس اللازم لتفادي أن يدفع متظاهرون حياتهم ثمنا لالتزامهم".

وأضاف "على أي حال، نأمل أنه في إطار مجتمع ديموقراطي، يمكن للتحقيقات التي أُعلن عنها أن تفضي إلى نتائج".
