ذكرت وسائل إعلام إيرانية، الثلاثاء، أن الرئيس الإيراني، مسعود بزشكيان أبلغ ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان في اتصال هاتفي بأن طهران كانت ولا تزال ترحب بأي عملية تؤدي إلى منع الحرب في إطار القانون الدولي.

وشدّد أن التهديدات الأميركية لطهران تؤدي إلى "عدم استقرار" في المنطقة.

وقال بزشكيان، إن "التهديدات (...) الأميركية ترمي إلى تقويض أمن المنطقة ولن تفضي إلا إلى مزيد من انعدام الاستقرار"، وذلك بعدما لوّح الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب مرارا بالتدخل عسكريا على خلفية قمع الاحتجاجات في إيران.
