تسلّم رئيس مجلس النواب العراقي هيبت الحلبوسي، الثلاثاء، طلبا من الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني وحزب الاتحاد الوطني الكردستاني لتأجيل جلسة مجلس النواب الثلاثاء والمخصصة لانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية.

وأورد المكتب الإعلامي لرئيس مجلس النواب أن "رئيس مجلس النواب هيبت الحلبوسي تسلّم طلبا من الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني وحزب الاتحاد الوطني الكردستاني لتأجيل جلسة الثلاثاء الموافق 27 كانون الثاني، والمخصَّصة لانتخاب رئيس الجمهورية"، مشيرا إلى أن "طلب التأجيل يهدف لإعطاء مزيد من الوقت للتفاهم والاتفاق بين الحزبين".
