طلب وزير الخارجية الإيطالية، أنطونيو تاياني، اليوم الاثنين، استدعاء السفير الإسرائيلي لدى بلاده لتوضيح ملابسات حادث تعرّض له اثنان من عناصر الكارابينييري (قوات الدرك) أمس أثناء أدائهما مهامهما في القنصلية العامة الإيطالية في القدس.

ووفقا لـ (آكي نيوز) أفادت وزارة الخارجية بأن عنصري الدرك تعرّضا لتهديد مباشر من رجل مسلّح يرتدي ملابس مدنية، يُعتقد أنه مستوطن إسرائيلي، حيث صوّب نحوهما سلاح رشاش، عندما كانا في زيارة استطلاعية تمهيدية للتحضير لمهمة مقررة لسفراء الاتحاد الأوروبي في قرية قريبة من رام الله، ضمن أراضي السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية.

وأفادت مصادر حكومية بأن ضابطي الدرك أُجبرا على الركوع تحت تهديد السلاح، وخضعا لـ"استجواب" من قبل المستوطن.
