انقطع التيار الكهربائي عن أكثر من 600 ألف مشترك في الولايات المتحدة، اليوم الأحد، نتيجة عاصفة ثلجية اجتاحت 10 ولايات.

وبحسب شبكة "سي إن إن" الأميركية، سجلت ولايات تينيسي وتكساس وميسيسيبي ولويزيانا أكبر عدد من المنازل والمنشآت التجارية المتضررة، مع انقطاع التيار عن أكثر من 100

ألف مشترك في كل منها.

وكانت شركات الطيران ألغت أكثر من 13 ألف رحلة جوية.

ومع استمرار تأثير العاصفة، وافق الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب أمس السبت على إعلان حالة الطوارئ في 10 ولايات بجنوب شرق الولايات المتحدة.

وقال ترمب إن إدارته تعمل بتنسيق وثيق مع حكام الولايات المتأثرة والوكالة الفدرالية لإدارة الطوارئ، في إطار الاستعدادات الجارية للتعامل مع تداعيات العاصفة.
