أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية فجر اليوم الأحد، على واجهتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، ثلاث محاولات لتهريب كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة محمّلة بواسطة بالونات موجّهة بأجهزة إلكترونية متطورة، حيث جرى رصدها من قبل وحدات حرس الحدود والتعامل معها وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات، وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
