أعلنت السلطات الأفغانية، السبت، مصرع 61 شخصا وإصابة أكثر من 110 آخرين، جراء تساقط كثيف للثلوج وهطل أمطار غزيرة في البلاد خلال الأيام الـ3 الماضية.

وقال متحدث الهيئة الوطنية لإدارة الكوارث يوسف حمد، في بيان، إن الأمطار والثلوج تسببت أيضا في تدمير 458 منزلا بشكل كلي أو جزئي، إضافة إلى نفوق مئات من رؤوس الماشية.

وأشار إلى أن الظروف الجوية القاسية أدت لإغلاق طرقات كثير من القرى، لافتا إلى احتمال ارتفاع حصيلة الضحايا والأضرار مع استمرار وصول التقارير من المناطق المتضررة.
