قالت رئيسة الوزراء الإيطالية جورجا ميلوني اليوم الجمعة إنها طلبت من الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب تعديل بنود مجلس السلام من أجل حل المسائل الدستورية التي تحول دون انضمام إيطاليا إليه.

ومجلس السلام هو هيئة دولية جديدة تقودها الولايات المتحدة تم إنشاؤها للإشراف على الحكم في مرحلة ما بعد الحرب في غزة وربما جهود حل النزاعات على نطاق أوسع.

وبموجب الدستور الإيطالي لا يمكن لإيطاليا الانضمام إلى المنظمات الدولية إلا على قدم المساواة مع الدول الأخرى، وهو شرط تقول ميلوني إنه لا يتوافر في النظام الأساسي الحالي للمجلس الذي يمنح ترامب سلطات تنفيذية واسعة النطاق.
