قفزت أسعار الفضة في المعاملات الفورية إلى 100 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) للمرة الأولى في تاريخها الجمعة، إذ أدى الطلب القوي والتهافت على الشراء إلى زيادة الأسعار.

ويأتي ارتفاع الفضة لمستوى 100 دولار للأونصة مع إقبال المستثمرين على أصول الملاذ الآمن على خلفية الاضطرابات الجيوسياسية، ووسط توقعات بخفض مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) أسعار الفائدة.

وارتفعت الفضة أكثر من 200 بالمئة منذ تولي ترامب منصبه لولاية ثانية في يناير كانون الثاني العام الماضي. وجاءت المكاسب القوية التي حققتها الفضة مدفوعة بالتحديات المستمرة في توسيع نطاق معالجة المعدن والنقص المستمر في المعروض في السوق.
