انخفضت أسعار النفط الأربعاء إذ طغت توقعات زيادة مخزونات الخام الأميركية على تأثير توقف مؤقت للإنتاج في حقلين كبيرين في كازاخستان، وذلك في ظل ضغوط جيوسياسية ناجمة عن تهديدات أميركية بفرض رسوم جمركية من أجل السيطرة على جزيرة غرينلاند.

وتراجعت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 79 سنتا أو 1.22% إلى 64.13 دولارا للبرميل بحلول الساعة 0201 بتوقيت غرينتش. وخسرت عقود خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي 64 سنتا أو 1.06% إلى 59.72 دولارا للبرميل.

وارتفع كلا العقدين بنحو دولار واحد للبرميل أو 1.5% عند التسوية في الجلسة السابقة بعد أن أوقفت كازاخستان الإنتاج في حقلي تنجيز وكوروليف الأحد بسبب مشكلات في توزيع الطاقة. وتلقت الأسعار دعما أيضا من بيانات اقتصادية قوية في الصين.
