أعلنت الولايات المتحدة الثلاثاء أن قواتها احتجزت ناقلة نفط في الكاريبي، هي سابع سفينة يتم احتجازها منذ أن أعلن الرئيس دونالد ترامب فرض حصار لمنع السفن الخاضعة للعقوبات من التوجّه إلى فنزويلا أو مغادرتها.

وجاء في منشور للقيادة الجنوبية الأميركية على منصة إكس أن السفينة "ساغيتا" كانت "تتحدى الحصار الذي فرضه الرئيس ترامب على السفن الخاضعة للعقوبات" وقد تم احتجازها "دون أي حوادث".
