أعربت وزارة الخارجية السعودية عن إدانة المملكة بأشد العبارات هدم مبانٍ تابعة لوكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين "الأونروا"، من قبل قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في حي الشيخ جراح بمدينة القدس المحتلة.

ووفقا لوكالة الأنباء السعودية، قالت الوزارة في بيان: "المملكة تجدد رفضها للانتهاكات الإسرائيلية للأعراف والقوانين الدولية والإنسانية، وتحمّل المجتمع الدولي مسؤولية التصدي لهذه الممارسات، وللنهج الإسرائيلي القائم على مواصلة جرائمه بحق منظمات الإغاثة الدولية".

وأضافت: "تعرب المملكة عن دعمها لوكالة "الأونروا" في مهمتها الإنسانية لإغاثة الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، وتطالب المجتمع الدولي بحماية المنظمات الإغاثية والعاملين فيها والمنشآت التابعة لها".
