استقبل نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، الثلاثاء، كبير مساعدي رئيسة الكتلة الديمقراطية في لجنة العلاقات الخارجية في مجلس الشيوخ الأميركي روي عوابدة.

‏وبحث الصفدي وعوابدة سبل تعزيز علاقات الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين المملكة والولايات المتحدة وزيادة التعاون في مختلف المجالات.

كما جرى خلال الاجتماع بحث عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والجهود المبذولة لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
