أعلنت وزيرة التنمية الاجتماعية وفاء بني مصطفى أن الوزارة بدأت تنفيذ خطط لدعم الأسر خلال فصل الشتاء، من خلال توفير وسائل تدفئة آمنة. وأوضحت أن قرار استبدال المدافئ غير الآمنة، الذي صدر بتوجيه من رئيس الوزراء، يهدف لضمان سلامة المواطنين، ويستفيد منه آلاف الأسر.

وأكدت بني مصطفى أن الوزارة بالشراكة مع مؤسسات محلية وقطاع خاص بدأت عملية الاستبدال منذ 8 كانون الثاني، حيث تم استبدال 1285 مدفأة حتى الآن، وأن مديريات التنمية الاجتماعية بدأت استقبال طلبات الاستبدال وسيتم صرف المدافئ للأسر المدرجة في القوائم اعتبارًا من الأحد المقبل.
