سجل سعر الذهب والفضة مستويات قياسية الاثنين بعد أن هدد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب بفرض تعرفات جمركية على عدة دول أوروبية كبرى بسبب معارضتها لرغبته في ضم غرينلاند، ما أثار مخاوف جديدة من حرب تجارية.

وأدى الإقبال على المعدنين اللذين يعتبران ملاذا آمنا للمستثمرين في بداية التداولات الآسيوية إلى بلوغ سعر الذهب في ذروته 4690,59 دولارا للأونصة، بينما وصل سعر الفضة إلى 94,12 دولارا.

وكان ترامب قد هدّد السبت ثماني دول أوروبية أرسلت عسكريين إلى جزيرة غرينلاند بفرض رسوم جمركية جديدة إذا لم يتم بيع الإقليم الدنماركي "بشكل كامل" للولايات المتحدة.

وستدخل هذه الرسوم الإضافية، البالغة 10%، حيّز التنفيذ اعتبارا من الأول من شباط/فبراير، وقد ترتفع إلى 25% اعتبارا من الأول من حزيران/يونيو.
