أعلن رئيس المجلس الأوروبي أنتونيو كوستا الأحد أن قادة الاتحاد سيجتمعون "خلال الأيام المقبلة" لتنسيق ردهم بعد تهديد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب بفرض رسوم جمركية على خلفية مسألة غرينلاند.

وكتب كوستا عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي "نظرا لأهمية التطورات الراهنة وبهدف التنسيق بشكل أكبر، قررت الدعوة الى اجتماع طارئ للمجلس الأوروبي خلال الأيام المقبلة".

وأفاد مسؤول أوروبي بأن كوستا يدرس عقد القمة في بروكسل الخميس.
