قالت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين اليوم إنّ جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني تلقّى دعوة من الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب للانضمام لمجلس السلام، وإنّه يجري حاليًّا دراسة الوثائق المرتبطة بالدعوة وفق الإجراءات القانونية الداخلية.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي أنّ المملكة تثمّن الدور القيادي للرئيس ترمب في التوصّل لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة وإطلاق الخطة الشاملة للسلام والجهود التي يبذلها لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والسلام
