ثمن مجلس نقابة الصحفيين سرعة استجابة مديرية الأمن العام، وتمكنها من تحديد هوية الجناة وحصر الاشتباه بشخصين اعتديا على الزميل الصحفي فيصل التميمي، حيث جرت ملاحقتهما وتحديد مكان وجودهما وإلقاء القبض عليهما.

وأشار المجلس الى متابعته مجريات التحقيق إلى حين تحويل المتهمين إلى القضاء المختص لينالوا جزاءهم العادل وفق أحكام القانون، مشددا على ثقته بالأجهزة الأمنية والقضائية وحرصها الدائم على إنفاذ سيادة القانون وحماية المواطنين والصحفيين.

وتمنى المجلس الشفاء العاجل للزميل التميمي الذي ما يزال يتلقى العلاج على سرير الشفاء في مستشفى الزرقاء الحكومي.
