العراق يعلن انسحاب القوات الأميركية من قاعدة عين الأسد الجوية

أكدت وزارة الدفاع العراقية، مساء السبت، أن الجيش العراقي سيتولى إدارة قاعدة عين الأسد بالكامل بعد الانسحاب الأميركي.

وذكرت وزارة الدفاع، في بيان نقلته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أن "رئيس أركان الجيش أشرف اليوم على توزيع المهام والواجبات على الأصناف والتشكيلات العسكرية في قاعدة عين الأسد، بعد انسحاب القوات الأميركية منها وتولي الجيش العراقي إدارة القاعدة بالكامل".

وتابع، أن "رئيس أركان الجيش، تابع مراحل تسلّم الملف الأمني من خلال إشرافه الميداني على توزيع الأصناف والتشكيلات داخل القاعدة، والمتمثلة بلواء القوات الخاصة الخامس والستين وأفواجه، بالإضافة إلى توزيع المقرات الخاصة بقيادتي القوة الجوية وطيران الجيش".
