قال وزير الزراعة، صائب خريسات، السبت، إنه سيتم توفير كميات أكبر من مادة زيت الزيتون المستورد في الأسواق الأسبوع الحالي، مع استمرار وصول الشحنات تباعا.

وأضاف خريسات أنه تم منح تراخيص لاستيراد من 7 إلى 8 آلاف طن لتلبية احتياجات السوق من مادة زيت الزيتون، مشيرا إلى أن الكميات المستوردة بدأت بالوصول إلى الأسواق قبل نحو 10 أيام.

وأشار إلى أن مصادر الزيت المتنوعة تشمل دولا مثل تونس، إسبانيا، اليونان وتركيا، مؤكدا أن أسعار زيت الزيتون المستوردة كانت مناسبة للمستهلكين.

ولفت خريسات إلى زيت الزيتون المستورد متوفر حاليًا في المؤسسات الاستهلاكية المدنية والعسكرية.
