نفّذت الادارة الملكية لحماية البيئة والشرطة المجتمعية، اليوم، حملة توعوية شملت الشاطئ الجنوبي وساحة الثورة، قامت خلالها بتوزيع نشرات إرشادية على المواطنين، بهدف التوعية بأهمية الحفاظ على البيئة والحدّ من ظاهرة الإلقاء العشوائي للنفايات.

وأكدت أن هذه الحملة تأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز السلوكيات الإيجابية لدى أفراد المجتمع، ونشر ثقافة المسؤولية البيئية، لما لذلك من أثر مباشر في حماية الصحة العامة والحفاظ على جمالية الأماكن العامة.

ودعت المواطنين إلى التعاون والالتزام بعدم رمي النفايات في غير أماكنها المخصصة، والمساهمة في الحفاظ على نظافة الشواطئ والساحات العامة، بما يعكس الوعي المجتمعي ويخدم المصلحة العامة.
