صرح وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت، الجمعة، بأن واشنطن مستعدة لبيع النفط الفنزويلي بسعر 45 دولارًا للبرميل، بينما أغلقت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت يوم الجمعة عند 64.13 دولارًا.

ونقلت وكالة "رويترز" عن رايت قوله: "الآن يمكننا بيع هذا النفط اليوم… سنبيعه على 45 دولارًا للبرميل".

وأضاف رايت أن الولايات المتحدة تحتفظ بعائدات بيع النفط الفنزويلي في حسابات في قطر تعود ملكيتها للولايات المتحدة.
